RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Jordan Caoile, who was reported missing last week out of Moreno Valley, has passed away, school officials announced Sunday.
Caoile, a student at Vista Del Lago High School, was 16.
It is with deep sadness to inform you that one of our students, Jordan Caoile, passed away. Out of respect for the family’s privacy,, this is the only information we are able to share,” the school’s principal, Matt McCain, said in a statement.
“Our students’ and staff’s emotional and academic well-being is important to us. We understand some students and staff may know Jordan and his family, and that this news is challenging to hear. Although we cannot predict how anyone may react, we are sensitive to our grieving Raven family. We will post more information on the resources that will be available Monday for students that are impacted by this news. We are here for his family and our entire Raven family who is grieving right now.”
Caoile was last seen on May 15. The circumstances of his death were not immediately released.
Caoile’s parents confirmed the heartbreaking news on social media, thanking the community for its continued support during the search for their son.
“We have an update on Jordan. He has been found but with a heavy heart unfortunately he is no longer with us. Please continue to keep Jordan in your thoughts and prayers. We ask as a family if you could please assist with removing any posters or flyers you come across. Please respect our privacy as we come to terms with our loss. Thank you.”
A GoFundMe has been set up to help the Caoile family with funeral expenses.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is engaged to his girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez, after nearly five years together, according to Page Six.
The outlet reported that rumors of the engagement have made the rounds for months after Sanchez was spotted wearing a heart-shaped ring. News that they began dating came in 2019 after Bezos’ divorce from his wife Mackenzie Scott
The pair were married for almost 24 years.
Bezos and Sanchez are in the South of France for the Cannes Film Festival and have been staying on his $500 million yacht that features a mermaid that looks similar to Sanchez adorning the prow.
Sanchez previously told The Wall Street Journal that Bezos “makes me laugh all the time. He can be goofy.”
On his birthday, she wrote about Bezos in a lengthy social media post.

Despite reprising the role multiple times since the original 1984 film directed by James Cameron, Schwarzenegger has decided to bid farewell to the character following the lukewarm response to recent Terminator movies.
The first Terminator film introduced Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, who finds herself targeted by a relentless cyborg from the future on a mission to eliminate her and prevent the birth of John Connor, the future leader of the human resistance.
The former California Governor returned in Cameron’s highly-acclaimed sequel, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, where his cyborg character was reprogrammed to protect a young John Connor from a more advanced cyborg, the T-1000.
While the first two si-fi installments achieved both critical acclaim and box office success, the four subsequent sequels released between 2003 and 2019 failed to replicate their predecessors’ achievements.
Despite the ‘Predator’ star’s involvement in most of these sequels (excluding Terminator: Salvation due to his role as the Governor of California at the time), he has expressed his decision not to portray the Terminator again due to the underwhelming audience response to recent installments.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Schwarzenegger expressed, “The franchise is not done. I’m done. I got the message loud and clear that the world wants to move on with a different theme when it comes to The Terminator. Someone has to come up with a great idea. “
Acknowledging the defying of the last two Terminator films, the 75-year-old actor confessed, “The Terminator was largely responsible for my success, so I always would look at it very fondly. The first three movies were great. Number four [Salvation] I was not in because I was governor. Then five [Genisys] and six [Dark Fate] didn’t close the deal as far as I’m concerned. We knew that ahead of time because they were just not well written.”

James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 has been getting the much-expected love from the audience an MCU film gets and days after the film’s release, discussions on it are still ongoing. The film introduced the character of Adam Warlock, played by Will Poulter and as per James, handling his inclusion in GOTG Vol 3 was a task for him. But why does he say that? For the unversed, James Gunn’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3 saw a lot happening in one film; there was Rocket’s story, Gamora’s conflict, the introduction of the menacing High Evolutionary and then Adam Warlock. In an interview with io9, the same thing got pointed out and Gunn was asked, “Now, this movie obviously comes in with lots of tackle. You have the Rocket’s origin like you said, the whole Gamora thing we talked about, Drax’s family, which has always been kind of a question there, and then these new characters. So, what aspect of the story was the hardest to organically get into the mix of this movie?”
Answering that, the Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3 director James Gunn without a second thought, said, “Well, there’s no doubt it was Adam Warlock. Like, it was really difficult… I promised Adam at the end of the other movie. The High Evolutionary has created Adam’s species. That was the way in.” He added, “But it was definitely– everything else was… High Evolutionary is directly related to Rocket. All of, you know, War Pig, and the Recorders Vim, and Theel, they’re directly related. So, it was the thing that was the most kind of separate that we put back into it. Except that, we had also teed up Ayesha in the second movie, so we had all of that. But it was definitely the more difficult part to make a part of it.”
The interviewer further asked whether he felt pressurised about introducing Adam Warlock because fans were all hyped up about his inclusion in the MCU. James Gunn agreed that he did feel the pressure and said, “I think I did feel pressure to put him in this… A lot of the stuff was written for Vol. 2. Originally, Adam Warlock was in Vol. 2 and he was sort of the opposing force… I seem to always have a second force, right? So there’s, like, in the first movie Yondu serves that position. He’s an alternate force. And in the second movie, Ayesha [Elizabeth Debicki] serves that position.” He concluded by saying, “In this movie, it’s Adam and Ayesha together. So, I always had the character in mind from that movie and then he seemed to fit better in this movie than he did in that movie.”
